As promised, I sent the old photo (below) to a pretty knowledgeable Brass Era friend, that used to be on the national Board of the Horseless Carriage Club, to see what this car was.



His response - he feels it is a 1908 Mora, and offers the photo below into evidence. And I would have to say the similarities are pretty darn strong. It is a very distinctive radiator shape.

I think you're right !! Thanks for clearing that up. I'm a 38 chevy guy and still learning about those. I emailed Bill Barker and he said to put it on the forum. GOOD JOB.

Scroll down and you will find the 1908 Mora Touring, a car made by Mora Motor Car Co. Newark, NY from 1906-1910.

Strangely enough there are no Chevrolets pictured before 1914.
We should send the web site a picture of the Classic Six???
