Hello to all, yep another newbie. New to V.C.C.A. and new to online chat and to this classic car stuff. I do have a'26 superior K that I will be working on that I purchased a year or so ago that I do have registered and do drive some but of course it does have a multitude of problems to be worked out. I'll just take them one at a time and hope for the best. It's a bit rough but I don't mind that part as I'm looking mainly for a driver and don't know if I have enough life left for a body-off. I would like to say that the service that y'all provide is amazing. The knowledge and dedication you pass on is priceless. The number of classic vehicles and people with the ability and desire to keep them original and running grows smaller all the time, most guys could hotrod a car but very few could keep them a Classic. Great Job! Now that I'm done kissing up let's get down to business, Always need old Chevy parts sources, I have used Kanter, and the filling station and have even gotten some parts from Mac's and do get Hemmings for sources but any special sources for a '26 would be good. Currently looking for a demountable split rim or two. Any comparable make or model work for the chevy like a buick, pontiac, ford, etc.? Again, thanks for what you do and I promise never to ramble so much ever again.

Fantastic... Thanks for joining. And, if I'm not mistaken, you'll be receiving the December issue of the G&D which will be the BEST that we've ever had. It will be a collector's item.

Sounds like you've got a great car, a great project and some great times ahead!! Good luck.

Welcome! Glad to have you with us. I'm sure one or more of the 1926 guys will be along to answer your question soon. You could also have a look in the "Vendors" forum.... some of them are listed there. I know for sure that Bruce Bugay (here frequently with chat name "chevy b") and Don Rossi have some parts for your car and I'm sure there are many others.

Again, welcome!

All the Best,

Chip

I have a few rims in my distant storage building. Will need to check number and condition when I get back there in next couple of weeks.

I too welcome you to both Chatter and VCCA.
I would suggest you watch the top 2 forums for specific information for your 26 and the parts for sale for just that.

Thanks for the welcome guys, look forward to following the posts. If you could come up with a rim anytime I would be interested. May all your wheels stay round.
