UPDATE 2: MAJOR UPDATE!! The powers that be, have just determined that ALL PEOPLE JOINING DURING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER WILL RECEIVE A COPY OF THE DECEMBER ISSUE OF THE G&D!!! They have figured out a way to resolve this -- although it might only work for the first 75 people or so.... (hint hint)... so if you've EVER thought about joining, NOW IS THE TIME. They can still order the coffee-table hardback version for another week or so. Sometimes, there are a few extra copies that are for sale to members after the initial mailing, but this is unknown at this time.

I'm going to hijack this thread for just a moment.
I wanted to let you know that if you ever needed a reason to join the VCCA, that this is it.

The December issue of our magazine, the G&D (Generator and Distributor) is going to print now. It has taken almost FIVE months to produce. It is an unbelievable issue that is Larger, More Colorful, and More-Featured than we've ever done before.

If you JOIN VCCA now, you will be JUST-IN-TIME to receive this Collectors Issue. Why did I call it a collector's issue? Because it is the 50th anniversary of our club, AND the 100th anniversary of Chevrolet.

Billy Boy, I hope you take into consideration a fellow named RichardJ He has tried and tried to join VCCA but since there can always be that confusion about the Chatter Registration number and his Chatter II ID handle he has had to enlist the help of an ELF to get to join. I bet he has seen your original note about Dec. 10 being the cutoff for a DEC 2011 issue of G&D. I really don't know how you are going to get out of this pre-Dict-A-Ment but I am betting you will come up with sumpthin!!!
