I have a 1967 Camaro with a Grant wood steering wheel. The issue that I am having is the turn signal cancel cam is not clocked properly to cancel the turn signal the same in both directions. I have talked to Grant and Camaro Central and neither can help.
The splined hub has a hole in it for the horn wire to go thru that mates to a hole in the steering wheel that sets the clock position for the bumps that cancel the signals.
I believe I need a cancel cam that the horn wire is in the 1:00 O clock position and the cancel bumps are in the 3:00 O clock position.
The original one on the car the cancel bumps are in the 11:00 or 12:00 O clock position and I have purchased a replacement part from Camaro Central and a new hub from Grant they are the same.

Anyone out there experienced this problem and found a fix????

There should be an alignment mark on the hub piece that should line up with the mark on the top of the steering shaft. Their cancel cam may require the same alignment....Joe
