Help!. I accidently destroyed the stainless "blade" part of my windshield crank mechanism. I know it is a longshot, just hoping someone might have one. Tnx Von

Good luck finding one cheap! Keep your eyes open, you never know what could be misslabeled at the next swap meet.

My first post wasn't much of an April fools joke; you might have better luck in the 1937- forum or in parts wanted.

I think Jim Carter has someone who reconditions those mechanisms for him. I don't know if he makes parts or just takes good pieces from original crank-outs and assembles them into working units. I believe the stainless "tongue" is the same from 1937 thru 1946.
Contact Jim Carter Truck Parts in Independence MO. to see if they can help you.
