I have a 6 Volt Generator I would like help identifing. The only part of the number on the tag I can read is 0028 4822. It is 7" long. Your help will be appreciated.

That is a 1954 car or truck generator. Some early 1954's had a 1953 35 amp generator - the 028 is a low cut-in 40 amp.
