I purchased an NOS spindle for my 1951 1 Ton. It arrived the other day but unfortunately it had to go back because it was the wrong one. However, it was interesting to examine. The spindle had the 1 Ton bushings installed and they were a correct fit when tested with a new king pin. The bushings had no hone markings on them. This indicates to me that the factory did not need to hone bushings on the original assemblies. This is necessary with replacement bushings.
Other details are that the lower plug was installed and also both grease nipples.
