I have a 33' Eagle Cabriolet, I need (would like)pictures of what my car could look like. I have an old black and white of a Roadster. I need some motivational pictures for myself as well as my wife. She keeps thinkin that I'll wake up and come to my senses. I saw a picture of a nice looking 33 cabriolet that was said to be from Pennsylvania. I believe it was a green car, with stock looking wire wheels. Just to give a brief descrition of my car,I brought it home from the estate sale in a 4x8 trailer. I have most all of the hard to find, or impossible to find parts. I'm going to try to return the car to stock with modern upgrades. Drivetrain will definitely be a chevy six but I'm most likely going to go with a Turbo 350 with either a Genie shifter or a Lokar, so I can keep the appearnce of a stick car. This is about as far as I've got with ideas. That's why I would like to see pictures of peoples cars, inside as well as outside.

My stomach churns when I hear a plan like that. How could you possibly find fault with Norm Smith's Eagle?

33ragtop, I hope the folks here post a bunch o' great pics for you...maybe when you & your spouse see how beautiful your vehicle was (could be) when it left the factory, you might reconsider and keep it all stock... good luck with your project, epi

Amen, to keeping it original. I have some good pics of a 33 roadster but not Cabriolet--wish I did so I could start the conversion of ideas.

I certainly would like to keep it as stock as possible. Unfortunately about all I have of the car is the cowl, fenders, rear, both doors, hood, front and rear bumpers in short most all the sheet metal. Plus a few odds and ends like radio, speaker, heater, windshield, top bows, a real basket case but definitely doable. I plan on using the original guages in the dash,I also have an original steering wheel. I'm only going to supplement where necessary. I'm thinking that I can always add original pieces as I get them? I'm getting the urge to see my car all mocked up. At the same time I don't want to do anything that can't be undone later. Any pictures of interiors? Who is Norm Smith? As you have probaly guessed I did indeed buy Richards car. There certainly can't be many of these cars out there.

Is there any way to find out what my car may have had as far as drive train or interior or color? Hey pushrod, are you saying you have a cabriolet? What shape is it in?
