in the midst of getting approval for a loan on a 1957 Bel Air station wagon...the bank only basing loan on low value retail...FRUSTRATING! I'm in Hawaii...can't find an appraiser here locally...anyone know how I can talk them into financing for more? It's def worth somewhere between average and high retail value, but they won't even look at the car to make that determination...need an expert...HELP!

You might try contacting Hemmings or one of the advertizers. Any appraiser should have run into the same problm. Good Luck blue38 Bill
