When the car (36 standard FC town sedan) is turned to the left, or if going over bumps at some speed, there is a rattling sound in the front. The closest comparison I can come up with is akin to shaking coins or rocks in a tin can. The rubber bushings in the shock absorbers are new. New kingpins, tie rod ends, and ball/sockets in the pitman and drag link. Driving and steering don't seem to be affected.
Before I start looking and hope to find something obvious, are there any suggestions as to a likely culprit?
Thanks!

Thanks for the ideas! The main component not replaced on the front suspension are the spring shackles/bushings/bolts (and springs themselves). The car has about 130,000 miles so they are pretty worn. I've gotten everything (rear shackles and bushings) except the unique front mounting bolts to rebuild. So this could be the culprit. Rear spring shackles have been rebuilt.
It doesnt sound like the scraping of a broken brake spring--that has happened once before.
Steering gear is fairly tight--new bushings for the sector and adjusted.
I'll jack it up so the front spring dangles to check the shackles and front spring mounts. Again, thanks for the input!

This is an old post, but I thought would provide what turned out to be the problem. I took off the front springs to replace the bushsings/pins.
They were gunked up pretty good with grease/oil, and I found that upon cleaning, the clips that hold the spring from fanning out were cracked and the springs were spreading a little. Sometime in the past someone had taken them apart to lube.
I replaced the front springs with a pair off a parts car and viola, no more rattle!
