Florentine Films is producing a documentary film for Chevrolet to celebrate their 100-year anniversary. We are looking for snapshots of tri-fives from back in the day (1950s-1960s only). We are not looking for present-day photos of tri-fives. If you have old photos (your first car perhaps? your folks’ car that you worshiped as a kid?) we’d love to see them. Photos of tri-fives alone are good, but photos with people in them are better. Please email your photos to sherman.picturesaaflorentinefilmscm, or email us for our mailing address (we will scan and return your photos). Please be sure to include your contact info – we promise not to share it with anyone. Thanks and happy motoring!

If you are not going to share the photos why are you making the film? For your own enjoyment?

I spent several seconds reading that last line also, but came away thinking they were talking about the "contact information".

I did not get what would happen to the pictures either.

If I had known that growing old would be this much fun---I'd have done it sooner!

If they expect me to send any candid shots of my tri-5 Chevys better let me know how and where they will be used and shown. Owned a few back in the 60s.

Sorry for the confusion; I meant we won't share your contact information. The film will be broadcast on TV sometime toward the end of the year (station and date TBD - Chevy is working that out now), and possibly shown in limited theatrical release. We will keep everyone posted with details as they're firmed up. Chevy's birthday is Nov. 3, so the film will definitely air in Nov. or Dec of this year. Thanks!

And the photos would be used in the section of our film where we talk about tri-fives. We've got editors from Car & Driver and Automobile, collectors and restorers, Chevy's own designers, judges from the Eckler's Classic in Orlando and many other folks talking about tri-fives, and we'd love to include some snapshots in that context to give it a more personal feel.

Hey, these guys are on our side. Doesn't anybody have any old Back-in-the-Day photos of themselves (or family members or friends) in a tri-Five? This is your chance to be famous and immortalized forever in film! I just heard from them again, they're still looking for any good photos of tr-Five Chevys from that time period.
