I have just hauled home a pickup truck bed full of 1936 parts. This is (sadly) from a very nice coach that was street rodded. I am putting together an inventory, all the stuff is very nice, clean, boxed and labeled. I haven't priced it out yet. Basically, no engine or tranny, but much other mechanical. Recently rebuilt generator, fuel pump, both manifolds, steering column, master cylinder, pedals, oil pan, metal part of floor boards, wiper motor, and a lot more.

If you have needs for 1936 stuff, ask me and I'll look. Too busy getting ready for Flint and other things going on to get this on eBay for a while, but I wanted to post it in here. If you're looking for something let me know, could deliver to Flint.

That generator--it's GM/Delco Remy, right? What is the part number on the tag? Price?

Yes, Delco Remy No. 1102667

Recent new armature, all in good working order when removed. I want $65 for it plus shipping. Should hopefully fit in a US Postal Flat Rate box, which is about $15 regardless of weight.

Thanks, let me know if you want it. Photos below.

Nice generator for the price. Unfortunately, Delco number 1102667 fits 1940-42, not 1936.

Whoops!!!

Well, it came off of this guy's '36 who street-rodded it. Another case of him having bad judgment!

Yeah, I agree--that part is for a 1940 etc. Won't fit my 1938. Well, anyway, I won't have to go to jail; I would have been stealing it, at that price. Keep me in mind (kylegillilandaahotmailcm) if you get one for a 38; part number should be 1100460.

Hi, Dave -

Nope, shocks is an item I did not get. I'll send you an email with a list of the parts I got.

I'm still trying to get time to put prices on this stuff and get photos taken. Thanks.

Any chance are there any brackets for the Jack ? These attached at the bolts for the rear bumper. They look like support brackets for wood shelving.

Ken -

Is this the jack brackets you are talking about? First photo is top view, second view is one on its side and the back of one.

If you have your list of items together, I would be interested in a copy. Sorry I missed the brackets for the jack.

Thanks!

See below. This is "For Sale" for $160 plus shipping I have been told is a fair price. It works and is complete. Note - I have straightened the crank handle since the photo was taken.

If by chance this was a 36 standard I would like to purchase 4 or 5 artillery wheels. I also want hub caps.

A re-built fuel pump was mentioned. Do you know if it was rebuilt using a diaphragm designed for modern fuel that contains alcohol? About how many miles does it have on the rebuild? If it was rebuilt with modern fuel formulas in mind, what would you ask for the fuel pump?
Thanks!

I hadn't checked this forum for a few days and just saw the recent posts - sorry for being slow to respond.

Sorry LooseRocker, I have no wheels or hubcaps from this car.

1936Chev, these parts came off of a restored '36 Standard, that the fellow decided to ruin, I mean decided to street rod. All I know is what I have and what I see. The car was an infrequent driver, I would guess very few annual miles. He said he had gone through everything about 4 years ago, then decided to street rod it about 18 months ago. So presumably the Fuel Pump was also done at that time, and saw relatively little use. I have no idea what type of kit he put in it, but it looks essentially brand new, and it is AC Delco. It would only be a few screws in and out to change the diaphram if you were so inclined. I am not certain but think this is 1935-36 only?

I would take $90 for it, plus Flat Rate shipping, say $12. See photos below.

There was also a universal type Fuel Pump that he apparently carried as a spare, glass bowl looks the same. I will include it for $20 additional, see below.

The jack and base pictured is for a 1936, but the square tube fitted should be a forged steel bracket with hook for the bumper attachment.

Whoops!

I just came back to check this string, and I see I put a price of $90. That was a TYPO - I meant to type $60. The rest was correct - plus Flat Rate shipping of $12, and the generic spare pump is $20.

ChevyGuru,

Thanks for the offer on the fuel pump. It's a fair price but will hold off for now, especially since the diaphragm material is not postively identified.

The one on the car my car is currently working, but not sure how long it will continue since the composition of the diaphragm material is unknown. I have a couple of NOS/NORS pumps and a new alcohol-resitant/proof diaphragm to go with an old rebuild kit. So will probably put this in one of the NOS pumps.
