How was the attendance this year as compared to previous meets?

There were 56 cars on the show field. The oldest was a 1919 and the newest was 1982. There were 23 Chevrolets going for 1st Jrs. Every year the number of vehicles on the show field has gone up.

As for photo's, I'll try to get some posted tomorrow.

The 1959 Impala convertible was a 348 Tri-power factory 4 speed wtih power brakes and steering. It was absolutely awesome, owned by James Collier of Atlanta who shows up each year with a different mouth watering car.

The '54 wagon was unrestored except for an engine rebuild, 235 with Powerglide, also very fascinating car.

There were several cars, especially in the V8 Era, that were just about perfect, right off the end of the assembly line condition.

A great time was had by all, this is a really wonderful event each year. Next year is in central South Carolina, probably in mid April. I highly recommend it.

Thanks Don for the pictures and the info. Great looking show. We attednded one of the Area 9 Meets a few years ago and the southern hospitality was super.
