You've come to the right place to find info for your 27 1 ton. The amount of knowledge available from the good folks on this site is quite amazing.
You might also consider joining the VCCA. The monthly publication G&D (Generator and Distributor) is a right fine magazine, plus you'll get full access to the Tech Advisors and all the forums on this site.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the welcome. I am a member of VCCA and look forward to getting the G&D every month. I have visited this site before and there seems to be a lot of very knowledgeable folks willing to help people like me. I will be the first to admit I don't know very much about my old truck, but I am eager to learn. Right now I'm trying to figure out what everything is and what needs worked on - trying to keep it as original as possible. I want to get the truck running so I can drive it, I'll try a total restore later.
