Want to replace the vibrator on my original 1946 truck radio. The vibrator is located inside a metal box. Not sure how to remove the metal box to replace vibrator. Appreciate directions/instructions as to how to gain access to vibrator.

Thanks in advance for all assistance.
Ken

Never replace the vibrator without changing the buffer condenser and checking the filters for a short.

If I had known that growing old would be this much fun---I'd have done it sooner!

The metal box just pulls up. It probably has a little handle on it and that will probably pull off. You can slip something under the edge to help set it free.

My radio quit buzzing and would not play. I just put a vibrator in and it's O.K. now.
