Thanks Bill for adding all of that information to our website. I hope that it answers alot of questions about our 50th Anniversary Meet which is coming up in 162 days. You can also re-read many of the articles that have been in the G&D for the last 6 months which give details about each of these events.
Just remember everyone, you can register on-line beginning on 2-15-11.

What happens after we register and them find out we are unable to attend. I did not see that information but may have over looked it.

If unable to attend after you register, we will do the best we can to refund all of your money. If we have already spent money for certain items that you registered for, then that portion of your regiustration fee will not be returned. For example, if you reserve a seat on the bus to the GM Heritage Center and we cannot resell your seat, then you will be responsible for just that cost.
All in all, I believe that most persons would receive nearly full refunds. If you order merchandise like a shirt, you will most likely be responsible for your merchandise purchase.

Will we who have already registered receive verification at some point prior to the meet of things like times for events we've chosen, locations of events like the swap meet, headquarters room, parking. As I'm flying from Victoria to my son's in Windsor,we'll be commuting daily to Flint so I'll make sure to bring my GPS along.Thanks,Bill.....GO CANUCKS,GO.

We have been working now for over a week on the computer generated confirmation letters for everyone who have registered for the Anniversary Meet in Flint. The Confirmation letters will list all tours with the exact times for each tour. It will show all items that have been ordered by the registrant. The letter should be ready in about 7-10 days from now. It will also include a map of the host hotel, swap meet area, parking area for motorhomes, parking area for tow vehicles and vehicles trailers, etc.

I hope that I see it before I leave for Flint. We took 3-4 weeks in Canada to get a G&D when they were mailed from California.Besides that,Canada Post has been doing the roving strike thing for a few weeks. And if the events I booked were filled up before I filed mine, how am I going to know and try to rebook? The meet starts in 3 1/2 weeks, doesn't it?

Bill... you might do well to send all of us Canucks a PM... It's been a week and a half since I got mail, and would really like the confirmation letter...

Make sure when you have the chance while attending the Flint Meet to thank each volunteer for their help in making it an enjoyable event. Yes, each one is an unpaid volunteer that takes time from other activities to contribute to your enjoyment of the event. The Chairs and committee leaders have spend hundreds of hours working on your behalf. Others maybe only a few hours each one was instead of something else.

Or even better, volunteer to help. I am sure that there are still several things that need to be done.

Bill,
Is there any news media coverage on this? I wasn't able to attend and have been checking all the network news. Nothing in my neck of the woods.
What gives??

If there was any news coverage, it was probably on the local news only.

As for news coverage the only people I have seen here are from local news stations. I do not know if it is picked up by the networks from the local station. I only saw a short pieces on the local TV. here.

We've had TV stations here 3 or 4 times... and again tomorrow (on our LAST DAY!?!?!?).

I haven't looked at any TV so I don't know how much they are showing. A guy is suppose to have a DVD in 3 weeks for sale. It will be an hour... It will also be marketed in the G&D.
