Anybody made one of those luggage trunks that fit on the back?

Hi Steve,
You might check out Snyders Catalog on page A-56. They sell a trunk for Model A Ford that is 13" deep by 34" wide, black with black straps or tan with natural leather straps. They also have brackets, hinges and racks if you want to make one over there. Click on my Sources Page http://www.cybersurfers.net/~herb/sources.htm

Herb,
Had a look at the Synders link, and checked them out. I think it will be cheaper if I can locate plans or pictures how these are made.
I seen a nice one on e-bay (have to watch what people try and sell you on that place!)the other week with the top and front opening up. I said to the wife (Boss) what do you think. She said forget it....sigh. :-)

Hi, Steve,

Chevrolet offered an accessories trunk in 34.
I found one at a swap meet. However, it made my
car look so bad when mounted, that I took it off
and sold it! It looked like a swelled up hemroid!
But each to his own. Should you find one, you'll
also need the extensions that increase the length
of the bumper brackets. Mine had hole in it for
mounting the spare carrier. Good luck!
