What do they call the metal body part betweem the bottom of trunk door on a '31 coupe and the gas tank splash cover? Are they reproduced? Thanks.

I believe it is called a gas tank "apron". They are reproduced and available from a number of sources (such as The Filling Station).

Jerrygolf mentioned the gas tank "splash cover" (or apron) in his posting so that is not the panel he was inquiring about. The metal body part between the bottom of the trunk opening and the gas tank apron is called the "lower deck panel". They are not being reproduced as far as I know.

Thanks Guys.
When the time comes and I don't find one, I'll try to make one out of sheet metal.
