Hi folks,
I have a 31 coach. I picked up a nice rack a while back and it looks to be correct. I understand that a Potter trunk is really a 32 option and that an extension trunk is extremely hard to find. Should I bother mounting the rack or would I just lose points with it on?
Also does anyone know where I could buy new stainless strips for my rack?

You might want to search this forum for previous discussions about this. The racks and trunks have been in many lively discussions.

My "personal" opinion, is that ALL options add to the risk of point DEDUCTION. The highest rated cars often times are the plain-Janes. Sure, there's exceptions, but if you really, really want to go for points, then exclude the options.

Second comment: Extension trunks are around. I see them fairly regularly. Just heard of one about a month ago that changed hands.

As for ss strips... They're not being made at this time. But hold your breath and count to 100 and you'll see them advertised somewhere!
