I was just working on the wiring of the 34 radio and thought I would try it out. When I turned it out I heard a frying sound and then smoke. Only good thing about this is Ray Holland lives about 2 miles from me. I just hope we can fix it with out taking it out of the cars again.
Just thought I would add, the dial light still works.

As Ray will attest radios work on smoke. When the smoke escapes it cannot be repacked and work again. Been there and tried it but I didnt succeed. Tony

I sure needed one of those kits when working on Jags and other Limey Limos back in the '60s got me to quit smoking in 1968 so as to not overdose. Have been on withdrawal since. Don't get the ab exercise that trying to clear the bronchial tubes produced.

I had not heard of the Lucas "replacement smoke" and of my experience you need to buy it in bulk if you work on anything lucas, aka "prince of darkness".
