Have tried unsucessfully to find posts relating directly to this subject.
Can get a 1929 car chassis from a friend and want to build a pickup that's as origional as possible, whilst adapting earliest model chev hydraulic brakes and synchro geargox, thinking of a late '50's 261 engine? and earliest model diff to suit.Could this combo work? Would i need to box chassis, (want to avoid this)
i would really appreciate any sugestions,looking for maximum power and drivabilty without losing the essence of the 1929?
