I am wondering if I am better going to a convertible, due to the condition of my roof. Are there kits for it? And if there is, pretty expensive?

The convertibles used a reinforced frame, several major changes to the doors, body reinforcements and other sheet metal for the convertible. Then you have to find the top, rear seat, etc.

In my opinion stick with the 2 door sedan it is far easier to fix the problems than create a whole new set and try to fix them.

+ a BelAir 2 door is a rare model.
