karl31 Backyard Mechanic Registered: 05/18/03 Posts: 310 Loc: Hawthorne, New York	Not sure about the 31 but the wire is attached to the bushing on the 1930. I found it easier to remove the steering tube when I replaced the bushing and wire. _________________________ karl

The horn wire is part of the mast jacket bushing. The mast jacket bushing is near the top of the mast jacket and it is pressed into the mast jacket from the top. karl31 Backyard Mechanic Registered: 05/18/03 Posts: 310 Loc: Hawthorne, New York	The directions in Jim Barnhart's link are perfect. I used a broom stick from the bottom to push out the bushing. You should replace both the bushing and wire. _________________________ karl
