mine is a 32 coach. i was looking through the filling station catalog and ran across these pads, item #60*412 over three inches high.it says they go in the rear bolt mounting positions. when i took her apart, there was nothing like that there. should there be? wouldn't that make it awfully high in the back and leave a gap over the tank cover?? and maybe stress the coachwork?

I have no idea where they go. Maybe the listing is for a truck and not a car?

No. However, if you look at the catalog listing is says that the part is for a truck and not a passenger car.
