Hello all.I am new to this site and also new to antique cars.I just purchased a 1933 Chevy Master 5 window coupe.It is in very good condition(older resto),and I'm having an absolute blast working on and driving it! I can't believe I waited this long to have this much fun.I'm impressed with the wealth of knowledge I find on this site,and it has been very informative to read the posts.Keep up the good work on this site,it's a pleasure to read!

Welcome aboard. I also have a 1933 5WD Coupe. I've had every nut, bolt, screw and a few rivets off and back on during the 47 years I've owned it. If you have more questions, this site has the people with the knowledge to solve any problems you may run in to.

Thanks Roger. I just got back from a little ride this morning and found the packing in my water pump is leaking.I know what my next job is!

Mike - maybe you just need to add some grease via the grease cup and give the packing nut a turn. Try that first. Roger

You were right!Added some grease to the cup and gave it a few turns,no leak.I have ordered new packing,as the packing nut appears to be adjusted as much as possible.I drove the car to my first show this past weekend with no problems! I'm loving this old car!!!!!
