I am trying to sort out what the covers for the metal stems for the inner tubes would look like or are available. I have found them for fords but not a chevrolet. The metal stem tubes are readily available but not the outside portion that I can find. Are the ford parts an acceptable replacement?

You can get the correct metal valve stem, dust cover and the valve stem cap from either Coker Tire or Universal Tire.

In 1932 both Ford and Chevrolet used the same schrader valve stems, nuts and caps. Close reproductions are available from Coker Tire and many Model A parts dealers. Chevrolet did not service the tire and tube parts. It was necessary to get them from a tire dealer.
