Help needed at Flint !
Field Entrance Check Teams

Hello fellow members.
One of the first responsibilities of having a successful VCCA show is to perform a Field Entrance Check (FEC) on all registered show vehicles. This takes about 2 or 3 minutes and is best performed by a 3 member team.

Often, FEC is one of the first aspects encountered by the member as they attend the Meet. Therefore one of the key responsibilities of the Team is to make the member feel Welcome!

At our Anniversary Meet in Flint we will be conducting FEC on:
Monday Jul 18 and Tuesday Jul 19 at 9-11 AM and 2-4 PM

I would like to have two 3 member teams for each time period.

If you are interested in helping to staff this very important and fun activity (you get to see the vehicles up close and personal) please contact me. I will develop an assignment schedule prior to the meet so you will be able to plan your attendance at activities.

Thank you in advance for you help in this important task.

I need to check with Dave Miner, but I though that issue was settled well over a year ago.

There is still a need for volunteers to man the "Field Entrance Checks" at the upcoming 2011 Anniversay Meet.

Do not let my earlirer statement, "I though this issue was resolved well over a year ago", deter anyone from volunteering for this activity should you like to do so. Because of the large numbers of registrations expected based upon the Hotel reservations made to date, it may be necessary to have more that one Field Entrance Check operating at the same time.

A year ago Dave Miner approached me asking, Would the Lower Michigan Region agree to man the Field Entrance Checks for one day of the two days needed during the upcoming Anniversary Meet? At the time Dave had plans to ask another Region to take responsibility for the second day. I took Dave's request to the LMR membership and received sufficient support to tell Dave that the LMR would handle one day of the FEC, preferably the first day, Monday.

Hey Dick,

I'll work with you on the Field Entrance Checks on Monday if you would like.

Hello Bruce and everyone:

I know that volunteers are always appreciated for assisting in Flint. If you want to assist with the Field Entrance Checks at the 50th Anniversary Meet, let Dave Cavagnaro know at: djcavaaptdnt
