A friend of mine has a 58 Chevy trunk that he is working on and is getting rid of the front I-beam axle with everything on it and also the rear axle with brake drums and springs. There are also four tires and rims. You pick up. These will go to the scrap yard if there are no takers. They are located on the central coast of Calif in Arroyo Grande. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will fill you in on details.

Yep, the extension trunk will only fit on the sedan, coach and phaeton models. The coupe uses the smaller Potter trunk and since the Potter trunk wasn't available until the 1932 model year, it would be a retro-fit for 1931.

The extension trunk is a retro-fit for 1930 since it came out very late in 1931.

Yep, I know what you mean. The extension trunk will work on your '30 and an aftermarket trunk will work as well. Actually, for 1930 the trunks that were installed were aftermarket. In comparison, the extension trunk today is way more expensive.
