Hi Giys,
I am chasing a GM (Chev) Mechanical Temperature Gauge. Not sure exactly what year chev it was used on but was also used on a 38 LaSalle
Details are
Manufactured by : AC Spark Plug (Flint Michigan)
Number on bottom of face : 1510548
Number printed on rear : 1510654
Believing that GM used a chev gauge, I am assuming it would be around 37 - 38
Any tips most welcome.
Regards
Ray

28isgreat, Don't know about the LaSalle, but the correct temp gauge for most Chevrolet models from 1936-39 is a #1510163. They appear on eBay now and then. I bought a NOS gauge recently and it came in the original AC box with the part number shown above. Here's a photo of a couple of them. Is this what you're looking for?

Hi Wino Wally,
Thanks for the reply and photos. I am thinking that like Chev and Buick and Pontiac in the 20's, similar gauge bodies were used with different faces.
If possible would you be able to send me a photo of the same gauges you sent earlier, only from the rear.
Thanks for your assistance so far.
Regards
Ray
