In putting my engine compartment back togeather I can not figure out where the upper Power Steering bracket mounts to? The lower craddle bracket was obvious but I have the correct upper bracket but not sure where it attaches to engine?

If I remember correctly both brackets bolt to the bolt holes on the lower LH bottom of the block & part of the adj bracket goes to the motor mount bolt. This is of coarse if you still have the 67/68 type brackets & not the 1969 type & you have a small block...Joe

Joe, Thank You, correct the cradle bracket bolts to the two lower holes that the early small block motor mounts bolted to. The difficulty that I'm having is the upper adjustment bracket clearing the motor mounts so that it will mount to the block. The brackets and pump are correct for the 67 with a 327 small block as they came off the motor a year ago when I started the restoration.Do I need to remove the entire motor mount? This would be a major project, Thanks Denny

hi Denny
Unless someone post I will need to look at my car when I get home. It's a 302 but the idea is the same. I'm kind of thinking I used the OE type mounts instead of the torque limiting type. Which mounts do you have?..Joe

Joe, I'm using stock OE mounts, has three holes staggered as if intended to attach to the motor mount but the notch in the bracket will not clear the rubber in the motor mount, Denny

hi Denny
Just got back to the computer. I looked at my car & it just goes to the front upper bolt of the eng mount. When I worked for NAPA, I remember some of mounts said all except p/s. I could send you a picture but I don't see an e-mail for you. You could send me a PM with your e-mail if you would like to see a picture......Joe

Joe, I found the problem, the adjustment bracket that came with the car was not correct, purchased the right one and it worked perfect, Thanks for all of your help, Denny
