Does anyone have the factory frame dimensions or know if they are on the internet somewhere for downloading? I have a 32 roadster which was rodded back in the 50s and mounted to a 38 chevy frame. I recently purchased a 32 frame and when we started the transfer I noted that the body width measures about 6" overall wider than the "new" stock frame. When I align the bottom of the body/doors/cowl with the correct location on the splash aprons, the aprons do not set on the frame or brackets correctly. I'm guessing that the body was "pulled" out on the bottoms to fit what I assume is a wider 38 frame. But first I figured we better check the dims of the 32 frame to make sure it is indeed for a 32. Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Ya I know, hit the button once too many times this morning. Didnt know if it was my computer or the board creeping along. And, I couldnt wait to go out and measure that new frame.

Yes I DO... as I suspected, the original builders pulled out the bottom of the cowl, doors, and quarters to fit the new frame. I did some more investigating and found a pie cut in the center of the firewall to allow that to happen. Anyways, I'm determined to bring this thing back, it should be well worth it. And, thanks again for the dims.
