I just don't have the time to get to all my projects (and my homeowner's association is whining about my collection, again) so I am putting my '53 150 Special up for sale (VIN A53N127267). Odometer reads 73035 miles. Clear Illinois title. It is two tone green, dark over light, and the body is in decent shape. There is some rust, but it is certainly restorable. She runs and drives, but the gas tank leaks. There is a small engine gas tank rigged under the hood for moving her around. I am including a new poly replacement gas tank from National Chevy that is supposed to bolt right in. She smokes a little, but the old 235 seems to be in pretty good shape. The previous owner had the head rebuilt to try to stop the smoking. The starter is in need of a rebuild because she cranks over pretty slow, but will start. Price is $2700 OBO.
