Several years ago when I was in the local NAPA store buying a few things I got talking to the manager about old cars and how I wanted to get my 1931 pressure plate rebuilt. He liked old cars so he said to bring it in. He sent it to Raybestos and they rebuilt it but they never charged him. He gave it back to me and said if he got a bill he would let me know. That was as cheap as it gets. check this out on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Hey Munchhin114" I had a cracked pressure plate housing. I called Ft.Wayne but they didn't have one. So I threw out a "Wanted" email on our chat line and picked one up for 65 "frogskins". the housing a plate were a little rusted but otherwise in good shape. I used some sandpaper, shined up the disk, and installed it. It worked out great. BTW, I have a '31 Coach. Good luck and good hunting. Gotta31

Did they say why? Have they seen it? The clutch only really works when taking off from stop, so maybe learn to live with it, if money is short. Does it grab? Chatter? Slip?
How about a picture? Sounds like a great truck! I have a '34.

junkyard dog, i believe it is for the late truck because it has the straight six in it. Wilson, they said it needs to be replaced because the actual pad is cracking because the truck has been sitting for almost 50 years.
