I have power steeing on my 53 Belair. The front end is in good condition but there seems to be some play in the steering wheel. Where can I get replacement parts for the power steering? Is there an adjustment that might correct the wandering or play in the steering without having to repair the power steering?

Have you checked out the steering adjustments in your shop manual?

Two things I would inspect bebore adjusting the steering gear.
Check the idler arm for up and bown movement and check the steering drag link ends for play. If the ends have play a spring thats in each end to absorb shock may be broken. From their I would consult the shop manual as the adjusment is rather touchy.

Paul, I'm in the process of installing a 53-54 PS unit into my 51. I'm doing this while the motor is out & noticed play in my manual steering wheel. Most of the play is in the center link which I'm installed a new bushing & pin into. There are two grease serts on this & they seem to wear out quick if not greased often.

Ok, you have given me somethings to look at before I get carried away trying to repair something that may not be broken ignoring something that is.

Thanks for the input.
