I have used the "search feature" to try to answer this question. If it is there I'm missing it.

I understand the correct Sport Light has a bow tie on the tag. Are the Sport Lights that look the same with out the Bow Tie the same unit with a different tag? Are there reproduced tags available? I recently found a light with a non bowtie tag that looks like the one Raymondo posted. The one I found is missing the knob.

The lights were used on other vehicles also. The generic tag just had Sport Light without the bow-tie. Don't know of a repop on the tag. Doubt it will be done with the lack of numbers and Chevy position on the trademarks.

The Sportlight was made my Unity Manufacturing and the lights with the Unity tag and with the Chevrolet "Sportlight" tag are basically the same.

You can probably get a Chevrolet "Sportlight" tag from this individual since he reproduces the Chevrolet Sportlights:

Don Sommer has been making the Chevrolet "Sportlight" with the Chevrolet trademark on the tag for decades. I have two of these lights and they are fabulous. Also, at one time you could purchase the "Sportlight" tag with the Chevrolet bow tie from him as well.

Don use to sell all the parts separately for the sportlight including the knob. I just happened to come across the list earlier today. He has not sold the parts this way for some time but may still decide to sell these parts to you. Don goes to Fall Carlisle but I don't know about Spring Carlisle which will be next month.
If he does not have the parts let me know and I will look up another possible source for the tag.

I've tried the email address with no reply from the web site. If anyone has another possible source I would appreciate any help. Can anyone provide dim. info on the knob? Maybe one could be boought from an Industrial Supply house. What color is the knob?
