I have 2 old chevy 5 window coupes a 1931 and a 1932. I don't have an ownership with either one, I was wondering if anyone knows where to find the VIN# on these cars? There is a stamped plate on the fire wall of the car but when I took the 3 to the minestry they told me it was no good. Any help would be great thanks.

There is a plate on floor just in front of the right (passenger) side of the seat on the floor. It is aluminum and is often missing. If there, it has the production serial number of the car.
