28 tail light plug and conduit

I was wondering how the tail light plug separates from the conduit. It is original and in decent shape but I sure don't want to break it. I sure wish my eyes worked as good as they did 10 years ago.

Ok I will look closer, but I didn't see any screws, but it didn't want to slide out the front either very well. It looks like part of the plug was swaged but I figured it might be to locate the right position?
