Any one know whut to look for. Or where to findvin # for a '50 chevy. Is it the "serial number" on the driver door jam rather than a "vin?" Thank, Dan

The number on the door jam should be the identifying number on your title. Just be aware that some states used the engine number, so if the door jam numbers don't match then check the motor numbers.
