Bama31 Shade Tree Mechanic Registered: 11/11/08 Posts: 113 Loc: Huntsville, AL	Is there any reason why I can't use a regular engine stand to hold the engine from my 31? I see a lot of guys making wood dollies to sit the engine on, but that makes if very tough to work on. I have a heavy duty engine stand (rear mount) rotator and always hook a cherry picker to the front of the engine when wrenching parts on or off of a straight six Chevy engine.
