Bob_Kerr Registered: 02/05/08 Posts: 794 Loc: Hymera, IN	Where did the dome light wire hook up to on the body and also, what was the twisted wire going to the rear for. I was thinking the rear tail light but not sure. I wil be putting this in tomorrow and the next day if it doesn't rain much. (yes I am working on it outside , Barn is full of goodys). One thing I need is the dome light switch if anyone has one. _________________________ 28 Chevy LO Capitol 1 ton, 28 National 2 dr coach, 71 Chevy Custom Camper 3/4 ton. Also 23 Oldsmobile Economy truck and a 24 Olds sport touring.

Chipper Registered: 11/22/01 Posts: 10239 Loc: The Great State of TEXAS	Not sure on the dome light as mine was rewired ~40 years ago. It had a ground wire twisted with the hot wire from the switch to the light. Ground wire extended past the switch and then was hooked to the frame to make the ground. The two wires running to the back should be the tail light and brake light. _________________________ How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!

Bob_Kerr Registered: 02/05/08 Posts: 794 Loc: Hymera, IN	I am back at it and have the old harness out and the new one going in well so far, BUT, does anyone know how the original tail light plug comes apart? It is good shape for original and I don't want to break it or the conduit.
