I grew up with six brothers.
That's how I learned how to dance- waiting for the bathroom.

I need some help assembling the engine. What should torque be on connecting rods, main bearings.? What should the clearance be on the main bearings and rod bearings.? I am trying to test oil pump by turning engine over. why can't I get oil to come out of pressure gauge line?

I recommend that you repost this in the 1912-1928 forum where it will be seen by the experts in the four-cylinder cars.

All the Best,

Chip

Hi,

Mains ~ 60, Rods ~ 35

.001 - .002

You must prime the oil pump by putting oil in one of the lines or overfill by 1/2 - 1 Qt. Save yourself some trouble by driving the oil pump with a drill until you get a good flow.

If I had known that growing old would be this much fun---I'd have done it sooner!
