I need some help assembling the engine. What should torque be on connecting rods, main bearings.? What should the clearance be on the main bearings and rod bearings.? I am trying to test oil pump by turning engine over. why can't I get oil to come out of pressure gauge line?

Hi, Mains ~ 60, Rods ~ 35 .001 - .002 You must prime the oil pump by putting oil in one of the lines or overfill by 1/2 - 1 Qt. Save yourself some trouble by driving the oil pump with a drill until you get a good flow.
