Tested and works excellent. 1941 Chevrolet parts manual shows to fit 1936 Models FA/FC/FB/R, 1937 models GC/GD/GE/S, 1938 Models HC/HD/HE/T, 1939 Models JC/JD/JE/V and 1940-41 Flat Back Cowl. Here is the link http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/parts/1929_41/41cp025.html . Is the parts manual in error?? I also noticed that it listed another part number for 1936 FC just above it.
