I noticed a while back the old VCCA sticker on my 28 windshield. It says 1911-1942. Anyone know when the stickers had those years on them? Must have been a while back.

The 1911-42 sticker was around in the early 70's. The one I have on my 1941 is of that vintage.

The 1911-1942 was the original decal. You'll also notice the 1911-1942 decals are much larger than the present ones. I would like to go back to the original size.

You will also find several vehicles with a VCCA license topper sold by the Miami Valley Region that is the same as the large decal with 1911-1942.

I knew someone would have good info on that sticker! Thanks guys. Now did VCCA use VIN #s on a registry? Solan, would that be a 490 by chance? Pretty car! Kind of looks like Dads 21 490 from the rear but I remember Dads car having beads on the fenders. Like I said earlier, been a very long time since I saw his car, it is buried deep. I hope to get it out and finnish it up for him in the next few years. All it needs are the fenders painted and the interior and top put on. It is a 10,000 mile original car.
