THRASHER Shade Tree Mechanic Registered: 09/10/02 Posts: 44 Loc: Rapid City, SD	Greetings all, Getting down to the final reconstruction which involves installing the hoods to a new center strip--any thoughts on using a lubrication or should I leave it dry? Bowtie Bob Registered: 10/26/02 Posts: 919 Loc: Rochester, N.Y.	I've had my '37 for near 20 years and never lubricated the center strip and I've not had any squeaks. If you do decide to lubricate it, I wouldn't use much, as the sun & engine heat might make the grease runny and mess up the engine / engine compartment. _________________________ -BowTie Bob
