I recommend that you contact FAXON. They have re-printed lots of older auto manuals. I have used one entitled "1926 1927 1928 Chevrolet Car Body Repair Manual Chevy" which is available from Faxon for about $20.00 plus shipping. This is a book that goes well beyond the assembly of the exterior body. It shows how the original cars were assembled "inside" and there are photos of the interiors on these cars. Faxon is available on their Iternet website or you can go on eBay and just search 1926 1927 1928 Chevrolet Car Body Repair Manual Chevy

I actually have the manual and it’s a great tool. I am looking for some detail pictures of the sides of the seats.

Saw your question last year about upholstery. I also just bought the Hampton upholstery and need help with the wood frames under the backrest springs.

Did the "manual" help with wood design for the seats?
