I have a 38 Master Business Coupe. Any repro door jamb parts like the dovetail wedges, dovetail caps or checklink stops (to keep door from flinging wide open) are all sold as chromed. Were these originally chromed? I don't find chrome remnants on the old parts I have. Billu38

My checklinks were/are not chrome. The dovetail that mounts to the door is chrome. The springloaded wedges on the door jam are black plastic and the keeper is body color. I see originals on ebay from time to time.
