hello , iam the new guy here and just wanted say hi and, i done some reading here and found this a very informative site, i recently bought a 29 4 door that was cut down into a truck back in world war2 , and used to haul steel, still has the fuel stickers in the windshield, and has been in a barn since 1956, its pretty ruff but i am going to leave her like she looks just replace the wood and finish it up like the truck just because of the history of it, i will be updating it so i can drive it to salt falts in august.not sure yet how to post pics but i will soon as i figure it out!

Hey welcome to Chevy Chatter. If you bought it off eBay, I seen pictures of it. What kind of updates are you planning? chevy

Here's easy steps to include your photo.

Pardon me if this has been discussed already...

I wonder if it would help those who want to post a picture next to their name if the FAQ list was expanded. The Current FAQ may be confusing to those who do not have their own Web site or understand URLs [like me]

1. Take a photo of your car, open it with Microsoft Picture. Under "Tools" reduce the size to 100 x 90 pixels.

2. Then go to VCCA's My Stuff to the left of Active Topics and choose Edit Profile.

3. Choose upload your "avatar" ... then click on browse, then find your picture on Microsoft. As long as it is less than 100 X 90 pixels, it will become your avatar.

well got a 4.3 and a bwsuper4speed. juice brakes all around and drive it to bonneville in august! im part of another forum i had a 42 truck for sale and i got it and cash on my 42, 42 was my dailey driver, but i also had a 52 ponco cheiftain that i traded for a 66 chevy truck , thats my dailey driver till i get the 29 together! i drive my stuff everyday so the stock resto doesnt work for me! not going to do much to this boddy wise except the cab i am currently restructuring with metal, i only had half the wood on one side, so took that to make the patterns for the meatl framing! going good so far!
