dads51 Shade Tree Mechanic Registered: 02/10/10 Posts: 131 Loc: New Mexico USA	So I have run across another one of my many ebay NOS purchases while my restoration project was barn stored. Door Top Mirror (left) or (right per the instructions). Group 10.185 and part number 986533 My question is this the right accessory for a 51 fleetline 4dr? And if it is do I want to install it? Good thing? Bad thing? It mounts at the top of the door frame and I have to drill through the moulding to mount the mirror bracket it appears? Scary step drilling through perfectly good trim someday? _________________________ "Frame Off" restoration, its a journey not a destination

The previous owner installed a peep mirror on mine, did the drilling through the upper reveal moulding and through the door itself. I found a good replacement moulding, the peep mirror is off, a clamp on mirror will be my mirror .....no way is all that "drilling damage" worth it. _________________________ When I'm behind the wheel of my 1951 Chevy ... it's 1957 in high school again! www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/21579056
