p.k. Backyard Mechanic Registered: 05/22/05 Posts: 496 Loc: seligman ,az	I have a 1966 corvette and I'm trying to find the torque specs for both the oil pan and the transmission pan. All that my books say are to tighten them to manufactures specs ? Chev Nut Registered: 01/08/02 Posts: 14642 Loc: West Allis,Wi.	The larger 5/16" bolts - 12 to 15 Ft pounds. The 1/4" bolts, 6 to 9 pounds. _________________________ Chevgene
