dandyd Oil Can Mechanic Registered: 12/26/01 Posts: 646 Loc: Arlington, Tx.	While in the process of liquidating a former members extra parts we have discovered a NOS A C oil filter kit pt# 851670 listed for the 1929 Chevrolet. Was this a popular item and is it in demand today? Since all proceeds from these parts will be donated to charity we were wondering what a fair market price would be for this kit.This filter is in the original box (slightly worn)with copper lines, most fittings and instructions. DD

Chipper Registered: 11/22/01 Posts: 10236 Loc: The Great State of TEXAS	Don, The filter was an aftermarket filter made by AC for the '29 Chevys. Later they were also marketed for '29-32 Chevrolets and maybe later years. They are not to plentiful but not extremely rare. Since they are aftermarket many will not install them on the cars. Think that value is in the $ 50-100 range. _________________________ How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
